Who We Are

Our website address is: https://proresellerhost.com and https://www.proresellerhost.com, stylized as https://ProResellerHost.com.

We seek to provide the best web hosting services to enable others to fulfill their dream of starting their own business. We did just that. We started the business to help others, start a business. Almost like inception, ya know?

In short, you aren’t going to get real fancy legalese in this policy. We are going to break it down nice and simple.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Personal information means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (“Personal Information“).

We may collect the following Personal Information from you: name, address, telephone number, postal address, e-mail address, IP address, information about the type of browser you use, your operating system, the screen resolution of your browser, your ISP, which pages you view on the Website and the time and duration of your visits to the Website, credit card number (in the case of direct customers) and, if applicable, company name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card number or tax ID number as well as similar information concerning technical contacts, marketing contacts, and executive contacts within your company or organization.

What This Policy Doesn’t Cover:

This Notice does not apply to the Personal Data of our employees, job applicants, contractors, business owners, directors, officers, and other staff.

Analytics and What Data Is Collected

We utilize Google Analytics to better understand our clients and potential clients. We seek to understand which services are viewed more and determine how we can continue improving our services. Google collects information about your computer and your browsing habits, so that we may better understand our clients.

Data Sharing and With Whom?

We do not share any data more than is required for the normal course of business.
To break this down further:

Sign up for services:
Your non-payment information is required to not only provide you access to the services we offer but also to assist with verifying the authenticity of your order. We partner with FraudLabsPro to attempt to keep the number of fraudulent orders down. Doing so enables us to keep our overall expenses low and keep offering excellent, high-quality services.

You may view the FraudLabsPro Privacy Policy here: https://www.fraudlabspro.com/privacy-policy

Your payment information that is collected is stored in a payment processor’s databases (if you have elected to store your information for future purchases), per each one of their agreements. We opt to reduce the amount of payment information so as to reduce any financial impact to customers, should the information be accessed improperly.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you sign up to use our services, your data will be stored indefinitely during the course of your services. This enables us to continue billing you for the services you have purchased and enables you to continue making further purchases without having to re-enter your details every time. This measure helps reduce the likelihood of fraudulent accounts.

If you leave a comment on our blog, the comment and metadata are stored indefinitely so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically, instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What Rights Do You have Over Your Data

As a Data Subject, you have a number of rights in relation to your Personal Information. These include your rights:

  • To ask ProResellerHost to confirm what (if any) Personal Information ProResellerHost hold relating to you and how that data is processed and used by ProResellerHost (often referred to as a ‘Subject Access Request’);

Where We Send Your Data

The security and privacy of your information is our top priority. We ensure that the data you provide or is discovered about you is kept private, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, along with our partners and the tools we utilize.

Your information is held within the United States. If you are a European customer, your data is held within compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GDPR is the most significant legislative action that has occurred within the European Union since 1995 with the EU Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC).

Protection: How We Protect Your Data

Every server that we operate is secured using industry-standard methods of hardening servers. We employ the use of active malware scanning tools in addition to spam blocking tools.
Sensitive data that ProResellerHost collects is encrypted and held in secure servers, and never in plaintext. If you, as a customer of ProResellerHost, fail to encrypt your customers’ data, you are responsible for any repercussions that may arise.

What Third Parties We Receive Data From

We receive data from Google Analytics to better understand who is using our services, who are interested in our services, and what services they are interested in most.

Additionally, we use services such as FraudLabsPro to receive a fraud score to better protect the business from fraudulent transactions.

Automated Decision Making

As mentioned numerous times in this policy, we utilize FraudLabsPro to curb fraudulent transactions. All orders that are placed on our site go through FraudLabsPro and obtain a fraud score. This fraud score helps our sales system to better understand the likelihood of your order being fraudulent or not.

Additionally, after placing the order, when you pay invoices through any of our payment processors, those companies have additional fraud measures that they run your account and transaction through that may block your payment to utilize our services.
